An excursion train billed as “The West Virginian” crosses the bridge between Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and Sandy Hook, Maryland on its return from Martinsburg to Baltimore.

The Union Pacific excursion consist rolls through the Laramie yard to get turned at the wye. The dome car is carrying the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club drumhead.
